We’re in the middle of the week. Sunday’s message is starting to fade, and the next one feels too far off. The rhythm of life picks back up—work, family, bills, the unexpected—and if we’re not careful, we can start to drift.
But here’s the reminder: God is still speaking.
Just because it’s not Sunday doesn’t mean He’s gone silent. The same God who met you at the altar or spoke peace to your heart in the middle of worship is still present in your now. In your hallway prayers. In your car rides. In your whispered, “Lord, help me” while folding laundry or answering emails.
God doesn’t just speak in sanctuary settings. He speaks in the waiting rooms, in the middle of stress, and even in the moments you feel too tired to listen.
The Bible reminds us in Isaiah 30:21 (NIV):
“Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’”
That’s midweek grace right there.
So if you’ve been feeling disconnected or wondering if you’re still on track—pause. You don’t have to chase a feeling. You just have to lean in. God’s voice isn’t always loud. Sometimes, it’s a still, small whisper that cuts through all the noise, reminding you of who you are and whose you are.
Stay grounded between Sundays. Open your Bible, replay that sermon clip, journal that one thing God stirred in your heart last weekend. Midweek is not a gap. It’s a continuation. He’s still moving. He’s still working. He’s still speaking.
Take a moment today—just five minutes—and let your soul catch up with your schedule. You’ll be surprised how clearly you’ll hear Him when you do.
