Delay isn’t denial—it’s divine development.

God doesn’t waste time—He uses it.
When Samuel poured the oil over David’s head, David didn’t immediately move into the palace. He went back to tending sheep.
The anointing was real, but the appointment was not immediate.

There’s something humbling about knowing you’ve been marked by God, yet still having to live unseen for a while.
David’s journey reminds us: just because God has spoken over you, it doesn’t mean the full picture unfolds overnight. Sometimes, He’s building strength inside you before putting weight on you.

Between the pasture and the throne were battles David had to fight. Lions. Bears. Giants. Jealous kings.
God wasn’t just protecting David’s future—He was preparing him to survive it.

If it feels like your “appointment” is dragging, don’t despise the delay.
Every hidden season, every hard lesson, every moment you feel overlooked—it’s sharpening something in you for the day your assignment finds you ready.

You don’t need to beg for what you’re already anointed for.
God is not slow. He’s strategic.

When the time came, David didn’t have to chase the crown.
The crown found him.

And when your time comes—you won’t have to force it either.
Stay faithful in your field.
God sees. God knows. God remembers.

The oil still speaks—even when no one else does.
