You can believe in resurrection and still mourn the cross.

There’s a quiet pain that sometimes follows even the strongest faith.
It doesn’t mean you don’t believe.
It doesn’t mean you’ve lost hope.
It just means you’re human.

Jesus Himself wept at Lazarus’s tomb—knowing full well that resurrection was moments away.
He cried because death still stings, even when life is on the other side.

Sometimes we think if we’re hurting, it must mean we’re doubting.
But faith doesn’t demand we pretend we’re okay.
Faith holds our grief tenderly, without rushing us through it.

You can cry over what was lost and still believe in what’s coming.
You can honor what hurt without forfeiting what heals.
You can stand at the foot of your own personal cross—mourning—and still know resurrection is promised.

Real faith knows how to sit with sorrow, without letting it swallow the future.
It knows the tears you shed are not a sign of weakness but a sign of love.

And love is what kept Jesus on the cross.

If you’re grieving today, don’t shame yourself for it.
Hold space for it.
Breathe through it.
Trust that resurrection doesn’t erase sorrow—it gives it meaning.

The cross wasn’t the end of the story.
And neither is your grief.
